two handled two pint pot - any idea of maker?
« on: October 17, 2010, 06:19:16 AM »
a family friend has recently given this to my son. He had had it for about 40 years he said, he was formerly a publican in England around the Stoke on Trent area - so I am guessing it is English glass.

would be interested to know if anyone recognises it and knows its maker. It is enormous - stands 14.5 cm or almost 6 inches tall, 14.5 cm (6 ") base diameter, 21 cm( 8.5")handle to handle width, rim diameter 10 cm (4") . Concave polished pontil mark to base.

The handles looked a bit like Wedgwood mugs to me, but I have never seen anything like this before.
Any info welcomed.
