Some help please with ID for this black glass stand No 2630

Tony — New to me.   The 2630 range included a vase (on a standard round plinth) and a square biscuit barrel, so, unless there was a square vase or bowl in the range, it looks like a plinth for the biscuit barrel.   Nice of you to provide a clear photograph of the number, showing that the large serifed set of numeric punches was used.   Thanks.
