Little Green Oil Lamp
« on: October 28, 2010, 10:42:12 PM »
Hi,

I bought this little glass oil lamp recently at a market. I am just wondering if anyone knows where it might have been made or are there other similar lamps in other colours. Thanks for your help.

Hi Tommy, it might be Polish, Krosno, Jozefina glass...they make them, and the swirl on the glass base is often a 'signature'.
Possibly worth a look at their website....but make a big cup of coffee if you go there as there is so much stuff to look at, and some of it is exquisite.
That is my guess anyway!!
Here is a link that might help, although because they are hand made, no two are ever quite the same.

Hi Rosieposie,

Thanks for coming back to me with the link to jozafina. I hadn't really noticed but there is a swirl on the the glass base!!  I think you might be right.

Many thanks for the info. Your help is much appreciated.
