Cut Crystal Gold Encrusted Champagnes
« on: October 30, 2010, 05:31:59 PM »
Hi folks! It's been awhile, hope everyone is healthy, happy, and finding treasure!

I have a set of 6 really gorgeous champagne goblets, that I'm trying to identify. The owner had them labeled "Venetian", which doesn't ring true to me - however, I do think they are most likely Bohemian, or perhaps French. The glass quality is superb, as is the workmanship and finishing.

These are 5.5" tall, and 4.125" diameter at the rim.

Have any of you run across these in your travels, or know where I can hunt further for info?

Thank you!

Kelli

My guess: Kvetna, Slovakia.

I am tending to support Ivo, it looks like Kvetna or Vrbno piece.
But I have to complain a bit - Kvetna is Moravian town - so not Slovakia but now Czech Republic - formerly Czechoslovakia.
