Topic: Pink glass vase- origin please?

Hi all,

I am still a beginner when it comes to glass and one of the most difficult things for me is identifying whether an item is European/American etc or a recent Asian import.

I purchased this glass vase yesterday at a garage sale- although it is quite plain I liked the lustre/sheen.  Do you think this is Asian, or made elsewhere?  It is 16cm high and I'm located in Australia.  

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
