Picked this up today for not an awful lot of money, because I vaguely recalled it from the Whitefriars catalogues. Just got home to look it up, and it turns out to be very similar.... but different.
It's an inch too short, the base is too wide, and the handle is plain and not reeded. *tuts* But going for the jug is an exact colour match to WF's Ruby, a very very close match in form (base diameter aside), and very nice quality. Also, I just noticed, the bottom half of my pitcher has the same width and proportions as the similar 9508 pitcher.
Plausibly something 'a bit off-kilter' sold through their factory shop....? Or just an accidental lookalike hailing from elsewhere? I think I've been too spoiled by Holmegaard, who sold many many unique and odd pieces through their shop, so now my first thought for any other factory is that same possibility!
