Large Brown Cusenier Flagon/carafe
« on: November 14, 2010, 10:28:06 AM »
Can anyone please help with more information on this item I have recently received.

It is brown/orange in colour and stands 32 cm tall and is 20 cm in diameter.

It has CUSENIER and FRANCE moulded into the glass on one side and has a ring of glass moulded on the surface on the opposite side to the writing.

I would like to know who it was made by and when please ?

Thanks in advance.

Identifying modern brand bottle makers is almost impossible, unless you can finf a factory worker who remembers producing them, even the the same design could have been made in several bottleworks overs its life. Best route is to try and trace the design usage period through collectors of liqueur/spirit bottles.
