vase with blobs
« on: October 20, 2010, 07:19:28 AM »
5" vase with added glass dots. I almost recognised it as Salviati from the 1970s - but it isn't. And then I almost had it nailed down as a Leerdam design by Ida Liefrinck from 1940, which was close but no cigar.
I am now suspecting Germany or Scandinavia.
Has anyone seen this one before?

Ivo, I can't see your vase clearly but I was going through Jindrich's link to ZBS album to look for something else and spotted this?
(hope the link works)

Actually, looking back at the link now, the blobs are much larger on this link - so probably a no goer.

Sorry this is something different, I will revert to museum and will try to make better pictures.

Ivo, I have heard you just published great book, can you please give me some links where I and my friends can purchase it?
Thank you

Jindrich

Jindrich the pictures are wonderful anyway.  I was just looking for something else and spotted the vase with applied blobs and it reminded me of Ivo's clear one.  However, on relooking at them once I'd posted the link I realised the prunts are very different.
