Going through newspaper stories and home furnishing trade journals didn't bring up glass but apparently their webpage would have been a good start.

I think the question of whether they may outsource the production is also answered on their webpage:

Intriguing product range, the UK distributors give the non-glass materials used glass seems to be what the call 'clear'  they do not seem to carry much of the glass products that show in US catalogue.

Polycarbonate = Virtually unbreakable, dishwasher safe, 90% transparent
MS = Break resistant, dishwasher safe to BS6743: 1987 4.9, 85% transparent
Acrylic = Break resistant, dishwasher not recommended, 92% transparent

As they cover all the standard glass ranges in these materials one wonders on its impact on the glass industry.

Nothing as adventurous as Bernard's glasses now though.

Hello - I hope you were successful in finding where to go regarding the Ghostie & Ghoulie glasses.  I have the Christmas set in which the glasses are aptly named Berry, Holly, Jolly and Frosty.  Same packaging, etc.  This past holiday, I broke Berry which is very upsetting to me and my family as we each (four of us) have our own glass....  I am looking at how to purchase another set or replace the one Berry glass which broke.  Any info/help???  Many thanks, EAB11758
