Small banded bottle with mushroom stopper - British?

(1/3) > >>

chilternhills:
I bought this small stoppered bottle, which was said to be British. But I have no idea who made it. It is about 6.5 inches tall and has brown ribbons/stripes and light green highlights on the mushroom-shaped stopper. I think it is rather good. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find out who made it? I don't know where to start  :-[ . Thanks.

Hello Anton, the colours in the stopper remind me of Mdina the bottle itself I'm not so sure maybe another Maltese factory,Phoenician or Gozo, one of the many Mdina buffs will probably shoot me down on this :pb: ;D

ahremck:
No idea why but it made me think of Okra.

I'll have a look through the auction site, but I'm sure I've seen a couple similar to this for sale and I thought they were Phoenician (but my memory isn't that good :)  )
