Pressed Glass Epergne - Base "Made in England", 30s?
« on: November 22, 2010, 11:09:31 PM »
The holders and base I think is chromed (not marked otherwise) and it has "Made in England" impressed into the outer base rim (pic 3). The holders are clear and pressed glass with no discerning makers marks.

I think, being honest, from the two two linked pieces, my glass is more chunky, less refined in shape, especially at the top rims. The glass is pretty heavy too.

I have found this one on Ebay, it looks exactly the same http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190469760538&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Still no hint to a maker though.
