I think we went 'Off Piste' (to use a Winter phrase :sn:) here,  so may I bring this wonderful rabbit :anb: back into the limelight to see if there are any other suggestions please? :sun:

I've really enjoyed reading this thread - nothing like a bit of irreligious banter........... Where's the respect for aethiests?.........sadly wish I knew Sue  -  but we may take comfort from the following.........The whole thing is so patently infantile, so foreign to reality, that to anyone with a friendly attitude to humanity it is painful to think that the great majority of mortals will never be able to rise above this view of life. — Sigmund Freud.    Mind you I love the 10 days or so that I get away from the office....the good food etc., so as an atheist I benefit from this religious mania. :)
However, to the point of my banter...........If you look at page 70 in Leslie Pina's 'Fifties Glass', there are two small vases that whilst of cased construction  -  are externally of a very similar colour.  These are Barbini pieces, and are described as 'clear glass filled with copper particles'.     You understand that this is a suggestion only, and coupled with the fact that I know naff all about rabbits or Murano glass, should tell you everything.   What do you call a guy who looks down rabbit holes...............a burrow surveyor :sg: :fc: :ooh:  Now you watch this get shoved over to the cafe ;D

I just found this,  and was so excited,  and look what you naughty boys have done....Highjacked my thread!!

I've got quite a few Barbini pieces,  and this is much more 'stocky'  than any of those. Very very like the rabbit in the thread above.

About the rabbit in the link I'd have to say, "Show me the label." It doesn't look like any of the Seguso rabbits I've seen. Your rabbit is much nicer, rosieposie. The coloring of your rabbit does remind me of Barbini, but the shape doesn't. I remain clueless about your rabbit.

We'll leave this here for now rather than send the poor wee bunny to the Cafe where he may end up as rabbit pie... :wsh:   but we'll clean up the OT stuff in due course.  Do try to stay OT though guys - it makes less work for us poor overworked moderators!  >:D
