Yasart lamp ???
« on: December 17, 2010, 04:04:03 PM »
This seller on eBay is a bit optimistic on price and maker. This particular lamp sold at Bonham's Chester auction house on 14/12/10 for £312 inclusive of buyers premium and was catalogued as a Monart mushroom lamp. Which proves even the large auction house can get it wrong.

Not sure why your letter was deleted, but on a lighter note and to prove auctions house do get it right. I purchased this Monart lamp with an extra shade in the same colourway (correctly catalogued as Monart mushroom lamp) at my local auction house.

I got them for a bargain price of £350 plus commission. Spoke to N Burns(the auctioneer) the day after the sale  and he informed me the last two mushroom lamps they sold (same design) went for £800 and £900 respectively.
