Art Glass Vase signed, could use help with IDing artist please
« on: December 21, 2010, 03:39:20 PM »
:ru: I  picked up this vase yesterday and would like to know what to call it other than ovoid and if anyone is familiar with the signature. I can't really make it out looks like  G Collins or G Colliers and dated 1973

I did some graphite rubbings on signature and it does seem to say G Collins written in script.

Thanks for looking :)

Although the way it is signed is very typical of Australian art glass I have no G Collins on my listings.  It seems to be a Perfume (minus the stopper).  If the hole shows sins of grinding or drilling that will mean it is definitely a perfume.  If not it may also be an oil lamp (minus the wick fitting).
