Hi Rosie I use Picassa and find it easy to use just click on the photo then click on edit at the right hand side takes you into Picnik and you can rotate, crop the photo lighten or darken then gives you an option to replace it with the original or make a new copy. Have a practice believe me if I can do it anyone can :-[

Hi , I use picasa and i think you will find it has all the basic tools available , from a pic file in Picasa double click an image and this will take you to the edit page and display your pic , on the left is all the editing features , and on the bottom toolbar are the rotate left and right icons , upload, export, zoom etc , once you have edited go 'back to library' found top left, then you must save the changes you have made by clicking on the floppy file icon next to the large share button, all in Picasa with no need to go to picnic or any other programme for that matter ,unless your needs are far more technical .

cheers ,
               Peter.

Thank you for the Picasa lessons Chris and Peter....now I know where I have been going wrong.

I used the rotate icon, and it showed it the right way up,  but didn't know I had to save it!! :thud:

Looks like I've got a lot of homework to do over the holiday!!
