Dear friends,

Can somebody help with identifying this pattern.
We've found quite a few examples in Holland, and it seems to have been widely sold, but it probably is NOT Dutch?!

Any suggestions about the manufacturer (probably UK, Germany, Belgium, Czechoslovakia) ??
Dutch and Flemish 20th Century Factory Glass

Hi Jay, I have a dozen or so drinking glasses with this sort of stem but not one of them gives any clue of where they were made.  They are harlequin sets though - all different coloured stems with clear bowls like yours. The first six I found are here: http://yobunny.org.uk/gallery1/displayimage.php?pos=-75 - you can see the same ridges/grooves on the stems. My feeling was probably Czechoslovakia, or possibly Portugal - I seem to recall finding an old picture of Portuguese made glasses in a similar style but I now can't find / recall where it was!   :-[   Ivo might be able to add more as he's helped me with some of my funny sets like this before.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

sorry unable to help much - I'd think Boussu first but I assume you looked there - and Germany as a contender.
