Hobnail Vase - Pink Satin ??
« on: May 06, 2010, 11:24:53 PM »
Hi, I hoped I described this right.  It is almost 8 inches high, the opening is about 4 inches wide, and the base is about 3.75 inches wide.  Of course it has little bumps (hobnails) all over it.  Also, at the bottom there looks to be FOUR seams, so I am assuming this is pressed - but why 4 seams?

Is this older?  Deco?  Maker? Collectible? etc...I kinda like it too.

Thanks for any info..

Four seams would just mean it's a four-part mould, rather than say a two-part or a three-part mould, Rose. Possibly easier to get it out of a four-part mould with the bobbly finish? And yes, pressed for sure. :)

Hi!

I have this same vase and I'm wondering if you found any information on it.  :wsh:

Take care,
Teresa
