Turquoise Cased Iridescent Petal Vase - ID = Fenton "Jacqueline"
TxSilver:
Hi, Ken. You definitely have my permission. Do you need me to email you copies? Thanks!
TxSilver:
I found a red vase in a 1961 Fenton catalog. The vase is a different shape, but has the same petal pattern. http://www.fentonfan.com/Catalogs/Cat61/Page12.htm. I think you are right about the era, Ken.
Ohio:
I got them Anita & posted to another board...will let you know of replies. Ken
TxSilver:
I found it. It is a Fenton Jacqueline overlay vase. :sun: I was able to find one like mine on eBay that was described as a QVC vase. So maybe the oval on bottom is a Fenton oval, but doesn't have writing?? Does anyone know if these were made at an earlier time and the reproduced for QVC? Or if some of the QVC vases did not have the Fenton oval?
Ohio:
Anita my apologies, yes it appears to be Jacqueline from the board I posted to & take a loop & see if there isn't a faded logo on the bottom. DW wanted the kitchen redone (countertops, sink, etc.) & of all things the phone rang at 8:30am & the contractor said he could work from 10 to 5 (on Sunday which I could not believe) if I helped him out so he came & the day was shot. Sorry about the delay. If Dr. Measell stops in he can tell you the history around it as some QVC item were produced using old molds clear back to the early 1900's...I actually have an original piece whose mold was used to produce a QVC C54175, Fenton C7603WV item & he supplied me with the info on the old mold that he personally aquired years before & maybe yours is along this line. Pic attached. Ken
