Egg weight on black base
« on: January 22, 2011, 08:54:55 PM »
I guess this is late 19th  early 20th century English due to partial kite mark.
Any information about its maker or a mores precise date would be welcome.
It is about 10.5X6.5 cm at the base

Many thanks
David

Thanks Ivo,
Well you never know with these secret societies! I was pretty sure it it is the remains of a Bitish kite mark which would give all the details of date probably to the day....if it were not rubbed out. But I'm not sure now, after rechecking it seems to be the wrong shape!
 Back to the books.
David
