Facet Cut Alexandrite Dichroic Vase

(1/4) > >>

dorian_graye:
Hello again.  I bought this vase not knowing who produced or designed it.  I think it might be a Czech piece, but it's unsigned.  The base is highly polished with quite a few surface scratches, so I believe it has some age.  It's a very thick, heavy piece and it measures 8.5" inches tall and 5.5" inches wide at the base.  Anyone have any ideas as far as producer?

I have had several Moser Alexandrit vases some of the early ones the signature was so small and feint  with the wear it would take me half hour to find it every time , i remember one was in script and a minute signature . can we see a base shot ?

dorian_graye:
Base shots...

Zelezny Brod Sklo could be a contender; a lot of their stuff was hot worked but they also did cutting

dorian_graye:
Do you know if there was a certain time period when zelezny brod did this type of work or have they always?
