Another deacons thread, Milefiori weight with P cane pp151 ?
jonchellycain:
Hi all
I bought this weight quite some time ago now and its been in my cabinet.
On the base it has a P cane and a sticker with (hand written pp151). The weight also has deacons thistle in the centre.
Im finding it quite difficult to find one the same or even similar, can anybody date this or give me any info, is the PP number right as i cant seem to find that either.
I think Deacons left Perthshire in 1978 so it pre dates then.
any info much apreciated

Hi Michelle
It is a Perthshire PP156, made 1994-1997. I don't think John Deacons had a patent on the thistle motif!

well there you learn something every day now dont ya, i really thought the thistle was just used by Deacons.
Is there a good website for perthshire paperweights and there PP numbers?
Thanks so much Alan
