Pale amethyst vase ID help if possible.

other than telling you that the obvious conclusion would be Finnish or Swedish - I have regrettably drawn a blank in the books that I have, regarding this particular shape, which is what the experts call 'complex'.   It is indeed 'modern' in the sense that is second half C20  -  assuming that is what you were implying, but I can't see the base detail too well, so unsure of the extent of wear.    It has what is termed a 'paperweight' base i.e. a clear base, indicating that technically it is described as 'cased' glass (clear over a colour).    The colour seems a little pale for amethyst, but that may mean nothing significant, although most pieces described as such are a little deeper.   There is something called 'raspberry pink' also.      We now need an expert on Scandi. glass :)

Cannot say it would look familiar in my eyes at all, sorry.
However, some measurements might help further. Also a better pic of the base.
