OK ive held it up to the kitchen strip light and my dining room light which is an energy saver so not to strong but it does give off an amber colour here's the pic's with a very shaky hand im afraid (holding it up on tip toes and taking a picture isnt that easy, plus im a bit  :ho: so that would be the shaky hands)

As white as the base of yours is, I suspect it is French. The Italian are usually milkier.

having something very similar here in yellow with an Italian sticker, there is little doubt this is Empoli.
