Blue dish ID?
« on: March 09, 2011, 02:15:16 AM »
This was bought in San Francisco at - hmmmmmmm - Goodwill I think - no Salvation Army.  Anyway it's not a regular oval, is a lovely bright blue - pictures are very true and I love it to it to bits.  It's hard to find anything with a European "edge" to it here in charity shops for some reason.  Any ideas?

Blue dish H - 10cm (at highest point), length - 25cm, width - 20cm

It is either bayel or Ikea. In the first case it would date from the 1970s, in the second case it would be much more recent.

   Hi,

I think Ivo is right with Ikea!!! I have just been in there funnily enough and seen them currently on sale!! they are great decorator pieces, my cousin owns a number of properties that he lets out, but I am responsible for decorating and furnishing them, I buy most things from Ikea including these lovely dishes!

                                              Warmest Wishes,

                                                  John
