My first Carnival pieces+ a jet compote

<< < (2/2)

Connie:
The black piece looks familiar but I haven't been able to find a match.  It is hard to see the pattern.

Are the diamond points smooth like Indiana Diamond Point or do they have a little cross hatch on the point like Westmoreland English Hobnail?

Here are some examples but my pictures aren't very clear

Once you've got the bug, there's no getting better

Glen - I'm thrilled!  A Brockwitz piece!  There is a small chip on the edge which I have only just noticed, but its difficult to spot because of the ruffled edge, fortunately.    And - a Sowerby too!   These two pieces look very similar in colour and in fact I can't detect any difference.  The black piece isn't carnival (said very tentatively  )

Connie - the diamond points are smooth.  They are not like the ones you show.  I've taken a closeup showing what I would call square pyramids.  This patterning has been done in four sections around the bowl.  Each section is like a section of pineapple.  The interior is smooth.

Thanks so much for all your help so far Barbara, Glen and Connie :P
