Topic: Interesting little vase - wondering if it might be Caithness

I bought this vase off Ebay thinking it would be easy to track down a maker.  After all there should be something about Bawley that makes it simple.  :pb:

The etched boat is a Bawley - a type of oyster boat that was used to get oysters out of Bawley Bay, a part of the Thames Estuary near Gravesend.  No cheese in that tunnel.

So look again - what about LK - who might he/she be.  Maker, engraver ?

Hoping one of you can help.  Just looking at the vase today I realised it has similar colours to some Caithness vases I have seen so I began to wonder.

Yes, it's Caithness.
I don't know anything about the boat, but these vases do come with etched nautical themes - as well as without etching.

Just a small correction, these are not etched, but sandblasted.

And some info......Bawley is not a signature, but the name of a type of boat - a Thames bawley.
