Topic: Art Nouveau Aventurin Vase. Maybe Poschinger?

Hey there,

Two weeks ago I came across this vase on a flea market. It was offered to me by an old man who had much old porcelain on his stand. When I said to him that I'm more into glass, he went to his house which was located only a few meters away from the stand and brought this dark green glittering vase. He acquired it in the sixties from someone as an Art Nouveau vase from around 1905 but he didn't know the manufacturer. He supposed it to be by Loetz and asked only 50 € for it.
I had the chance to postpone the buy a few weeks, when the flea market takes place again.

During my research back at home I ended up with Poschinger because of a quite similar decor on an vase I found on the internet site of a Vienna antique store [ * ] which said Poschinger Frauenau 1900 (Picture 2). On an antique market I saw another Poschinger vase with this gold decor but with more straight and angular lines.

So now I'd like to know, if it's indeed Poschinger (I don't think it's Loetz), if the age is correct and if it's worth the 50 €.

Something more to the vase: dark green glittering glass (Aventurin?), not marked or signed, bordered burnish gold decor in art nouveau style

I would say that 50 Euro is a good price, especially if the vase is undamaged. I do not know who made it though, the following example is listed under Harrach but I have no idea how accurate that is: http://www.thegildedcurio.com/item-Harrach-21.html

It is easier to date your vase than say for sure who made it, I would guess it was made circa 1900 by one of the Bohemian factories.

Ok, thanks for answering and editing my post.
I also think it's bohemian, but what about the one from the antique store? If you compare the pattern, you notice that it's identic, only varied a little bit. I found some other vases with gilding that look similar but no one comes as close as the vase from the store I mentioned. Even the antique market's vase comes closer than the pictures I found on google.
Apparently Poschinger, Josephinenhütte, Harrach and others made very similar pieces in aventurin glas, as they looked over each other's shoulder. So maybe it actually is really difficult to come to an exact provenance.

The trouble is we have no idea where the attribution of Poschinger came from, perhaps it was convenient in some way for that seller.
