that reminds me of Cari Zalloni designs but the rim finish doesn't look right looking at other pics.   -  I'm guessing you've already investigated that though?

I must admit I never even heard of the man - but now I do and managed to identify several other pieces, thank you for the pointer. I agree the finish is different - but I'll keep it in mind.
