Chris, I don't know who made your bowl, but the metal looks like silver foil in the picture. It is a lovely bowl and does look like Murano to me.

  Hi Chris,

Nice find!! I love it!!! I've had quite a few like yours over the years, and sometimes they they are difficult to attribute, but my favourites have been Barbini pieces (don't think yours is Barbini) and they have ALWAYS proved very popular with the buyers  :sun:

                        Warmest Wishes,

                            John

Chris, I have sold them a number of times, always very quickly and always at a GOOD price, admittedly not on
E-bay, I usually sell at a small local collectors fair, but have just made my first foray onto e-bay with an Isle of Wight weight!!! I'm certain Your Bowl will do very well whoever made it, its just TOO stylish not to!!!

                                   Warmest Wishes,

                                       John

I was at Reghed, Penrith on Sunday, as a visitor, not a vendor.  Things seemed very quiet...and I bought some nice pieces very cheaply...seems nothing was doing much at all.  I felt quite sorry for the dealers.

:hiclp:  I bought this little chappie - gold not silver Chris....wonder if either of you have a name I can pin on it?  :rah:  cheers steph
