Burnt Orange - Iridescent surface - Italian bowl - Who??

(1/2) > >>

obscurities:
I have had this piece for a bit and decided to try to ID it if possible.  1 of 4 pieces I am going to post today.

6 inch diameter, 2.25 tall... tons of age wear on the flat base. Nice iridescence to the surface of the glass subtle, but there for sure.... very thick clear outer layer......

Ideas of house??

TIA  Craig

Just a best guess really, but reminds me of some Barbini bowls I've seen.

Hi there:
Not sure If this is true or not --- but I had read somewhere that Burnt Orange in Murano colors was rare....

Here is where I read that, so not sure if that is true for the color *orange* or in the color orange for lamps ONLY ???  Maybe you have a *special* color there ???  Does it match that orange there?

It says that you can contact then for a color match?  Is yours that bright?

Just throwing out my thoughts.... ;D :thud:

obscurities:
Does not appear to be the same color... those are pretty bright.....

Thanks, Craig

Whooooops - I meant these ones....the orange here http://www.swanklighting.com/lamps/vintage-murano/rare-melon-orange-vintage-murano-lamps-seguso.  Not as bright.  I am just referring here ONLY to the color, and that orange (might) be a rarer color for Murano glass based upon ?? what was stated in that other link, but that is a ??? and a
