is this a whitefriars jug ?

(1/2) > >>

buttonfluff:
I was wondering if this is a whitefriars jug its only about 3 inches tall and has a ground out base-polished .

johnphilip:
Sorry 100%no.

Lustrousstone:
Krosno perhaps; it's the right orangey amber. I wonder if it's a water-with-your-whisky jug, as it has an ice lip and these individual jugs tend to be small.

buttonfluff:
ok thankyou ,couldnt find much reference to it ,theres one on the denhams auction site listed as whitefriars? are they allowed to get things wrong ??  ......i had a krosno jug that had a similar lip actually thinking about it .

Lustrousstone:
Believing what the auctions say is a bit like like believing what's said on ebay: all attributions should be taken with a pinch of salt. The ice lip is not a Krosno feature particularly, and Krosno is only a possibility for your jug.
