Looks like Sasaki - but not 10% sure. Sasaki (a.k.a. as Toyo Sasaki) seem to do a lot of importing.

I have a ceramic piece with a Toyo label on it Ivo, so I'm interested in this.  Thanks for the info.  So am I right in thinking they are an importer/or distributor then rather than a producer of goods?  I couldn't find much on them when I tried to look them up.

?????????

This is just a guess -- but I saw a Vase (in red) something like this and I had to look *twice* at it because the label (not clear) looked like it said SANYO on it.  Well, I do not think SANYO made glass.
:thud:

So just now I tried some different combo of that name (Sanyo, Sanya, Sanyu....) and lo and behold I did find a Glass Vase made in Japan by SANYU.......so might it be for that ???  Did they have different label over the years????

*CLICK HERE and see the high-lighted words.

The Wheels in my brain were going around, and around....

Maybe for once I can help..... :X: I hope this might help, or is even Right  :spls:
