I attach a pic of the side with the label (together with the first pic for comparison). As you can see the views are almost identical.
And as the hotworked decoration is rather difficult to see in this vase, I did a rough sketch (sorry for the quality
This decor is repeated 3 times...

Nr. 17, Emanuel Beranek 1959

A bargain at 3,- Euro...
One of several very nice things I found today at very low prices (when the weather is rainy I am always much more successful on my fleamarket tour).

I paid $50 for mine plus shipping and thought I got a good deal. It's one of my favourite pieces.  Note to self: next European holiday to include Vienna.

This one was exceptionally cheap -- for most of my Skrdlovice items I paid between 15,- and 25,- Euro (excluding my big Svoboda vase and my Vizner whirlpool vase, which cost around double of that)
Other Skrdlovice bargains were my early Jan Kotik vase (Euro 5,-) and my Stahlikova dark blue/purple ashtray (Euro 1,-).

Last sunday was really a lucky day: I found this Skrdlovice vase, a Peceny "Dragon's Head" vase for 50 Cent, a Jurnikl ashtray for EUR 2,50, a Tapio Wirkkala lamp base for EUR 2,-, a Vaclav Hanus vase for EUR  3,-, a red Saara Hopea drinking glass for EUR 3,-, and two Kaj Franck Kilta milk cups for 50 Cent each...
But although I am not unhappy to pay very little, I do not mind at all to spend a bigger sum if it is something I really like

But at least the earliest Skrldovice / Beranek piece so far.

Any ideas about designer and date of production?

Michael, if you go to Jindrich's website, click on "Vystavy" then on "Stale" then on "Muzeum v Pardubicich", you will be taken to the museum's web page.  At the very bottom, click on "Roky 1945 az 1949".  In 1946, you will surely find your vase.

Found it -- my vase is on side 19 in the .pdf you referred to, PN 4683.

And I thought I knew all the links on Jindrich's site...

Thanks, too, from me as I didn't know those patterns were there. Found the design numbers three of my early Skrdlovice pieces, including a new 4680 with yellow handles.
