Blue Space Race Inspired Glass Vase ID Help
« on: May 20, 2011, 03:33:10 PM »
Hi. Haven't been here for a while unfortunately and had to re-register and wondered if someone might be able to help. I've been away in Devon for a few days and bought a lovely blue vase. I have seen this shape before but have been unable to find it in books etc so far. I did think it was Riihimaki but when I checked it out this one has a much wider bowl and tapered inwards neck unlike the one I thought it might be when I was in the shop. Anyway if anyone can help out that would be great. Even if I find out it's an Ikea type piece made 5 minutes ago. The polished base does have some wear marks so hopefully it has a bit of age. It weighs in at a pretty hefty 2lb 9oz and is just under 7 inches tall;
