My wonderful husband John has spoiled me rotten for this year's Early Birthday present. :sun:

He bought me a beautiful piece of glass and took me in the car to collect it, as it was too delicate to trust to the post.

Those of you who have met John will know how lovely he is....this proves it....here is the prezzy....as Sue would say, it is a STONKER!!

Rosie.

Hi JP  :hi:....Apparently it was his Mother's, was thick with dust and thankfully, wrapped in cotton wool (literally!!).

Where was the auction you were bidding on?

I'll add my "yes" vote to the Istvan Komaromy attribution! She is lovely - I adore her "pedestal".
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

Thank you Sue & Anik,  I feel very spoiled indeed, and I do hope it is Istvan Komaromy's work.  John drove me to the Cambridge glass fair and saw the exhibition of IK's work there, and I think he was impressed, because to get this for my prezzy is better than a wincyette nightie!! (Yes, he has!! Before you ask!)
A true Stonker, I think you will agree!! :girlcheer:
