Clear Glass vase by Daum, France
« on: June 01, 2011, 03:06:32 PM »
Hi everyone again,

I was wondering if anyone could advise me if this vase was a genuine item by Daum. I bought it for penuts, thinking it would look good with my Czech clear glass bits. When i got it home and cleaned it i found the Daum mark. I have had a look online for info on Daum but nothing i have looked at looks remotely like this vase. The vase is 9.75" tall and very nicely made, it is ribbed all the way round with an clear elipse on each side and 4 little feet on the bottom. Is it pressed glass? is it old? is it rare? is it real?

All help is very appreciated,

cheers, David :sc:

Looks legit, and would probably be from the eighties or nineties. Unfortunately, recent Daum is not strong on the collector's market so the value may disappoint. But it is a gorgeous item, and of impeccable quality.
