Edinburgh E&L Crystal - uranium?
« on: May 22, 2011, 10:47:31 AM »
Found this one yesterday, I didn't realise that they made this type of thing tbh and can't really find anything similar online. It's signed underneath Edinburgh E&L Crystal and I presume dates 1920's-1950's? It has an obvious luminous look - did they make uranium items?

Looks like uranium to me. How is it signed?

Why is it always so difficult to take pictures of the mark!

Ah! so after some research a dropped tail on the "&" denotes c 1927 - 1939.

I would appreciate some images , on a white background for Scotland's Glass. E&L are poorly covered and coloured pieces are scarce.

Should you desire to donate it to a good home  :ooh:

Hi Frank. I'm happy to sort out some better pictures for you. I will update this thread with links to my Flickr page - when I get a chance - and you can download them from there.
