Now it would have been a real offence if it had been a real air-twist stem - thankfully, it's not - just another look-alike-from-a-distance moulded thing.

I guess that could be called a marriage of the old and the new! It is incredibly hideous but I have such bizarre taste and can quite see why you like it. Hideous can be pleasing at times. Now if some could ID the top part....
