grans bowl ! green with metal any IDs appreciated

Hi could someone take a look and see if they can put a maker to this,i think it looks British and about the 30s its a nice frosted green with tiny raised bobbles,i never discussed it at the time as it was only for show in a cabinet! and the base is attached my a nut and measures 9" wide 4" high..Thank you, Lynn

English seems unlikely for the glass. I've never seen this design before. The metal fitting could well be English though, as they were usually added by the wholesaler.

Does it glow?

Could it be American Depression Glass? Hopefully someone drops in from across the pond  :X:
