ID Help for pair of large fish
« on: June 17, 2011, 09:42:12 PM »
Just hoping these look familiar to someone here. They measure 10 inches high  x 9.5 inches long. Clear glass with a light green interior. They appear to almost glow?..and have gold flaking ..weighing about 4lbs each( could be bookends I guess )
Look vintage but could be anything. thnx for looking.

Mod: Alton11, please note that I have moved this thread out of Paperweights, and I have also deleted your identical thread (but with "Murano" in the title), from the Murano forum. If identity is not known at the level of country, please make just one posting in the main Glass forum.

I suspect they appear to glow because they do. Looks like uranium (aka vaseline) glass to me. http://www.vaselineglass.org/ I would say probably Murano, but no idea who.
