Clear glass bottle in 'Drunken Bricklayer' shape.
« on: July 01, 2011, 01:53:15 PM »
Hello Everyone! I have only been collecting glass for a short time, but loving every minute of it. Living in junk shops or charity shops, but also gallery shops as well, which is where I found the beautiful work of Jane Charles.
What can anyone tell me about this 'bottle' I have? Did Geoffrey Baxter design it? In 20th Century British Glass by Charles Hadjamach, he writes that clear glass in this shape was not produced commercially.
Clear glass bottle in drunken bricklayer shape with screw-top cap in silver metal; neck has wire in same material with leaf shape attached. On base a small paper label with number 5c3875 or 503875.
Thank You,
Seegreeneyed.

Hi Seagreeneyed and welcome

Did you mean to attach an image?  It's difficult to imagine the bottle you're talking about, so could you take a pic and attach it to your next post please?  Thanks!   :rah:
