Blue sixties "chair" ashtray
« on: July 19, 2011, 12:27:23 AM »
Well, after this afternoon's success with my Flygsfors   :chky:; here's another ashtray:

The pictures show it's very blue but it's actually a dark bluey-green.  I've see another on the web but can't find it again.  It's 8.5 diameter and height, almost a sphere with a diagonal slice cut out like a sixties chair (if you see what I mean) and a mould ridge around the middle.  Base is flat and has wear.

Many thanks

I think this one is either WMF or Zwiesel - but not quite certain of either.

I´d like to add Quist and Bruchmann to the list of suspects, who sold quite similar
thingies with metal-work:

From top: Quist, Bruchmann, unknown, Bruchmann (also comes in cased with cut lenses)

Thank you both.  I adore the ones with the metal attachments and I imagine have one of those.
