Retro Glass Cookie Jar ....
« on: July 23, 2011, 05:09:11 PM »
:thud: there, last post before I have to  :wsh: here

I bought this glass Cookie Jar.  Thought it looked Retro with the squares, and the colors of it.  Quite large.  No marks.  On the bottom you can see some clear glass from wear.  This is not white glass, but kinda like painted white glass.   Size is 10.5 inches tall with lid, and about 7 inches wide.  I like the bright colors.  Remind me of the colors from the 70's.

I am thinking the maker might never be known on this -- as this *might* be the type of item that is just bought at any old store, or hardware store....and still might be a Dime a dozen.

I just liked the look of it, and the colors.  Thanks in Advance if you have any info at all  :kissy:

Certainly for the American market with that quilt on it.

Thanks lustrosstone  :kissy:

I found one on fleabay like it.  They call it Ceramic there  :24:, but you can see it is Glass from the pics there.  Mind you -- the ad there on Fleabay calls it *Milk Glass* and then also calls it  *Ceramic*  :huh2:     But at least I agree with the seller there -- it is most likely from the 70's era.
