As it has American silver marks I would go along with it being American and by one of the top engravers working there. Date wise, if it was English, I would have thought it was towards the end of that 1890-1900 period. I say that because from the photos, it looks as if the body has been blown into a mould to give the impression of being cut out from a solid blank. Certainly in England that was happening from that period onwards to reduce overall costs.... " so far so good .. !
