I always wondered what that would like in the flesh.It looks like pressed glass thats got a cut design rather like the Victorian glass.
I wonder if it is a frosted finish or plain glass.
I got another green Orla the other day and green Nelson set.

Its very difficult to judge based on the black and white catalogue.

Have you ever seen a Lilli with the face facing sideways as shown in the catalogues?

I have the green orla as well, still looking for the orla bowl to complete the set....have spare blue and pink bowls though :(

Thought I would post some photos of the blue Madonna that has now arrived.
Also until you mentioned it I had no idea that Lilli had a sideways face but looking closely at some of the catalogue pics I see what you mean.Will have to see if that version ever turns up?

Thanks for sharing the photos of your latest acquisition - the Madonna lady in satin blue. The colour on this one looks different than the one you posted earlier. Great find, a shame there's a piece missing on the base??
