I think this is the one Martyn refers too:

I've seen around 5 or 6 of these recently for sale, if their not signed more likely their not by Nanny Still or Scandinavian.

I think you should have a go at getting your money as they have listed it in a specific category not generically and to be honest I would think it would be a Nanny still.  Or maybe you could suggest to the seller that they are misleading and ebay should know about it.  All the sellers feedback are "private"   and there are many repeat buyers either sequentially or randomly. It seems when the seller has something clearly identified it isn't private. This is clearer when you look at the feedback she has left for others.I would have a go for a refund.
This is mine and they do look similar.

I'll give some thought to how best to contact the seller over the weekend.  I'm off to Edinburgh for the antiques fair at Ingleston.  Thanks for the input.

They were definitely sold by Habitat about 4/5 years ago and came in at least 3 colours; amethyst, ruby and amber.
I've let sellers know on eBay before, but nobody ever wants to know, so I've given up....

Came across one of these bottles today, which finally had the Habitat clear plastic sticker on the base. Also produced in Thailand.

There's another one on Ebay at present in green, headlined as "Riihimaki? Holmegaard?".  I'm keeping a watch on it to see what it goes for.

I was in TKMaxx not long ago, and saw what looked exactly like amethyst Gulvases, which would match the piece in question rather extraordinarily well.
They had elegant paper labels on their necks, reading "Broste Copenhagen", and a white sticker on the bottom reading "Made in China".
