Sorry I wasn't ignoring you, but still looking into it.  The Hong Kong ones are almost twice that size though they are also taller.  I had also noted that the shape of the base was similar to those which is why I asked. However that is the only similarity as the stems and bases are totally different.  I think it could be a very long while before we identify it, but I promise you I won't stop looking!  I'm obsessed!
