More Cranberry for i.d.
« on: August 14, 2011, 07:06:41 PM »
Hi all

Have this cranberry bowl (see images) which has good weight to it, is 13cms tall and 13cms diameter. The bowl glass is 1.5mm thick. When i flick the bowl with my finger it rings for quite a time (does this have any significance with respect to quality of piece?). I have seen one displayed on ebay as "Victorian."

Regards
Malc

The ring indicates it's lead crystal. The shape looks much more early/mid 20th then Victorian, but that's only speculation.
