The seller thought it had a bit of age about it but I guessed the 09 was the production year.

I couldnt leave it in the shop just because of the sheer size of it. At 17" high its a monster.

I'm unsure why you have used Michael Harris's name in your ebay listing though, as he died 15 years before your vase was made.  :o :o

Because the vast majority of all purchases made on eBay are used by item searches via keywords which is simply a popular word or phrase used to search for any particular item. Ive not mentioned his name anywhere in the description.

Hope this clears it up for you  :)

Thanks

James.

Hi James,
I appreciate your explanation, however, the use of this wording in the title can be viewed as a contentious one.  There may be buyers out there that just don't know or aren't aware that the vase wasn't produced or even designed by Michael Harris. Whilst there may be an argument for including Michael Harris in the title for the purpose of aiding item searches, at the same time it may be worth explicitly saying in the items description that the vase is not a Michael Harris design.

Yes. Keyword spamming if you like. Similar to yourself when you included the words Rindskoff & Inwald in a couple of your eBay listing titles when you were not 100% certain of the attribution.  ;)

It is 100% not Michael Harris, after all. No doubt in the slightest.
