Glass Kookaburra or Kingfisher,seen one?
« on: August 24, 2011, 09:57:43 AM »
 :hi:
Has anyone ever seen a glass Kooka or Kingfisher,sorry i don't have a photo,asking for a friend.
I have searched but come up with not a thing.
Was hoping someone may have seen one somewhere in their travels.

It is 4in high in clear glass & is sitting on a rounded raised base.

Cheers for any ideas ;D

Give Paul Miller a look at www.langhamglass.co.uk he makes some stunning birds and I am sure one of them is a Kingfisher.

Definitely not a Kookaburra - the beak is not "Broad/Deep" enough.  Looks like a kingfisher of some sort.
